The undergarments were first in this construction. The base is a white muslin and added lace insertion. The camisole closes with six buttons and ties at the wait with a green ribbon. The split drawers open at both sides with two buttons and have lace frills. The petticoat closes with center back placket and two buttons.

The bodice of the gown is made from a cotton sateen in a mint green color. The under bodices was made separate and the over bodice was attached to the collar by hand stitching. The Bertha color was also hand stitched with lace frills and fagoting center back. The under bodice is made with a horse hair canvas lining to give structure as there is no corset worn with this garment. The front closes with seventeen hooks and eyes. The sleeve puffs are put on a separate sleeve and attache by hand at the shoulder. The wrist is gathered with a ribbon ties.
