About Me
Im a graduate of North Dakota State University with a BFA in Technical Theatre. I now have masters degree in costume specialised in historical dress. I have designed four shows at NDSU, three stage plays and one musical. I stated theatre in high school and worked as run crew on 15 shows. I got into costuming in college and became wardrobe crew for the first three shows I worked on and became a first/second hand stitcher on the other ten. My primary work is now focused on historical garments from the 1860's to the 1940's. I prefer to work with natural fibres as much as possible but I do work with polyester fabrics as well if money is a constraint. I love designing period looks and fantasy costumes. With my MFA, it is my hope to work for museums and teach people about historical dress and making original works of historical garments.
